“Synthesis” offers visual and sonic reflection of Moog legacy in downtown Asheville

Synthesis:  A Bob Moog inspired exhibition of video & sound
Place: Pack Square, Downtown Asheville, NC
Date: Friday October 26th and Saturday October 27th, Moogfest 2012
Time: 8pm – Midnight

Description: The Bob Moog Foundation, in a continued effort to share material from Bob Moog’s archives,  is teaming up with the Media Arts Project and the Asheville Cultural Arts Division to provide an electrifying presentation in Pack Square during Moogfest.  Synthesis will illuminate the heart of downtown Asheville with building- high projection art, videos, live performance, interactive soundscapes, and materials and footage from Moog’s archives.

Participating artists: Many of Asheville’s most exciting multi-media artists will contribute orignal video art to the project including: Constance Humphries, Sara Baird, John Brinker, Chad Adair, Sarah Bonner, Ursula Gullow, Alli Good, Jason Holland and Jason Scott Furr.

Participating organizations: Bob Moog Foundation, Media Arts Project (MAP), and the Asheville Cultural Arts Division

Synthesis promises to be a visual feast for festival goers and Asheville dwellers alike. This is  not to be missed!
