It’s simple: we’re a small non-profit with big ambitions. We believe that if we are going to conquer the many challenges of our current moment in history, we must develop powerful ways of igniting creative, innovative thinking in children (and adults, too). Our programs aim to do just that!
The Bob Moog Foundation ignites the innovator in people through interactive educational experiences rooted in the pioneering legacy of Dr. Bob Moog.
- We provide opportunities for children and adults to explore the science of sound through the magic of music with Dr. Bob’s SoundSchool.
- We direct the preservation and interpretation of Dr. Bob’s archives for future generations of journalists, educators, innovators and fans.
- Our programs awaken curiosity and ignite learning about the history, music, science and innovation.
Bob Moog changed the world by doing what he loved with intelligence, curiosity and integrity.

Share your Talent
From time to time, we distribute a download, a CD, or even a software package where a portion of the proceeds goes to the foundation. If you have a revenue-generating product, music or art that you think will be of interest to our community of Moogies, let us know–we might be able to help you market your work. That way we’ll work together to raise some funds for the BMF! Make an inquiry about donating talent today.

Share your Time
Our volunteers are ROCKSTARS! People help the foundation in a variety of time donations: supporting live events, helping with fundraising, preserving Bob’s Archives (cleaning, documenting, posting online), blogging / video blogging / twittering / facebooking, serving on a committee and lots of other small things that make a big difference…
