Bob Moog
Explaining how it all works
Bob's work aimed to eliminate the barrier between creative activity and technological design.

Musicians describe playing a Moog instrument not as an objective technological circuit completing itself, but as an intimate connection being made between mind and body.

In the work of Bob Moog, the poles of intuition and scientific imperative were made one.  Conventional distinctions meant nothing to Moog.  The proof was in the music that his instruments could make when they were in the right hands.

It's safe to say that the Moog was the first instrument intended to create other instruments.  This is exemplary of the dance between music and science you experience when playing a Moog.
