BMF Annual Rockstar Volunteer Party Takes Fun to New Heights

The Bob Moog Foundation celebrates their amazing volunteer base with a rockin’ good time at Climbmax in Asheville, NC.

February 16, 2013 was the Bob Moog Foundation’s annual volunteer party, in which the Foundation gives back and celebrates the volunteers who donate their time throughout the year.  This year the celebration was taken to new heights at the climbing gym, Climbmax, in downtown Asheville.  Attendees scaled walls, belayed, and participated in several fun contests, including climbing limbo, with the assistance of owner and BMF supporter Stuart Cowles.  DJ and Rockstar Volunteer John Lindsey brought the dance music with sweet Moog bass lines as well as a cool light show, and the Little Phatty® was on hand for volunteers (and Marc Doty) to play along when the mood struck them.  To top the evening off was a donation of delicious pizza and beer from Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company.  Check out the photos below taken by Katie Richard!!

Huge thanks and shout outs to everyone that helped make the evening a success and to everyone who braved the cold weather to come hang out!
